A senior Eastern Cape government official and two others have been arrested by the Investigating Directorate and the police's Anti-Corruption Unit on charges of bribery.
The Investigating Directorate's national spokesperson, Sindisiwe Seboka says the three are linked to a national SAPS furniture tender valued at over R36 million.
She says they were arrested in connection with bribery allegations in Pretoria and Gqeberha on Saturday.
