Jeffreys Bay police have arrested four suspects for being in possession of Tik valued at R327 000.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, said members of Jeffreys Bay Crime Prevention Unit were acting on a tip-off about a vehicle transporting Tik into the seaside town.
He said the SAPS members used an unmarked vehicle to follow a blue Toyota Corolla with four occupants which was pulled over and searched.
“In the vehicle police seized 1.09kg’s of Tik. They also impounded the vehicle which was also found to be un-roadworthy,” Nkohli said.
He said the four are due to appear in court in Humansdorp soon.
