The Tiffendell Ski Resort, the only ski resort in South Africa, will be auctioned without reserve in Johannesburg in July.
The resort has not operated for more than two years.
Nick Pretorius of High Street Auctions says the campaign to promote the Tiffendell Auction began in the media yesterday.
He says as no reserve auction the property will be sold to the highest bidder on the day.
The Tiffendell Ski Resort is currently under liquidation.
The resort was established in 1993 on the slopes of Ben McDhui Mountain, which at a fraction over 3-thousand metres is the highest point in the Eastern Cape.
