Three young sisters have been killed when the Opel Kadett in which they were passengers collided with a Ford Focus in Hartenbos in the Garden Route.
ER24's Vanessa Jackson says the accident happened late Friday evening,. when the girls, aged between seven and 11, were travelling with their father.
She says the children were flung from the vehicle after the impact.
Jackson says two of the them died at the scene and the third died on the way to the hospital.
Their father was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries.
