A nine year old Eastern Cape boy has died after being stung by bees.
Police spokesperson, captain Ernest Sigobe, says Lukolo Basi, a learner at Kalana Lower Primary School near King Wiliams Town, died yesterday afternoon.
Sigobe says he and a group of boys were returning home from school when he was stung.
An inquest docket has been opened.
Last month a 14 year old learner from Queens College in Queenstown died after he was stung by a swarm of bees during a school outing.
