Kariega police have launched a manhunt for suspects following a shooting incident in Kwanobuhle in which three people were killed.
Spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says police were alerted to the shooting at a tavern on Saturday afternoon.
She says about six suspects entered the tavern and opened fire at the patrons before fleeing in a Quantum minibus.
Three men, aged between 25 and 35 were fatally wounded.
Colone Naidu says police later noticed a group of men walking with firearms, and with the assistance of metro police officials, they arrested two suspects and confiscated three 9mm firearms and ammunition.
The two suspects, aged 25 and 32 are being detained.
The search for the other suspects is continuing and detectives are following up on all possible leads.
The motive for the senseless murders is yet to be established.
