Eastern Cape police are still searching for an unknown number of suspects, after three rhinos were killed in the Pumba Private Game Reserve on Friday.
Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Marinda Mills says the Hawks are investigating the matter, after the carcasses of two calves were found by a game ranger and a group of tourists on Friday afternoon.
Their horns were surgically removed. The carcass of the third rhino was discovered on Saturday morning, but its horn was'nt taken.
This was the 5th incident of rhino poaching in the Eastern Cape since the beginning of the year.
Mills says all resources will be made available to arrest the suspects as soon as possible.
