Police in Gqeberha are searching for murder suspects in two separate fatal shooting incidents at the weekend.
Colonel Pricilla Naidu says in the first incident on Friday evening, two brothers and the DJ of a tavern were standing in a container in Joe Slovo when an unknown man allegedly approached them and fired shots.
She says one person managed to run away, while the other two were fatally wounded.
The deceased were identified as Luvo Sokhuphe (32) and Mgcineni Mbalula (29).
In the second incident, the owner of a liquor store was gunned down outside his store in Sidwell as he was about to open it yesterday morning.
Colonel Naidu says an unknown man approached 51-year old Johan Meyer and fired several shots at him before running away.
She says the suspects and motive for the attacks are unknown.
Police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder.
