Investigating officers from the South African Police Service at Kwanobuhle in the Uitenhage Cluster have launched a manhunt following the fatal shooting of three men aged between 30 and 36 at a house in Tiya Street in Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage.
Captain Gerda Swart says the shooting took place shortly before 19h30 on Monday night.
Its alleged that a group of men were busy grinding open a safe at the house in Tiya street when an argument broke out among them.
Three men were shot and killed at the scene and two others were wounded.
Captain Swart says the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle and police are now also looking to link the recovered safe to a specific owner.
