Eastern Cape police are investigating the deaths of three men who were killed in separate incidents in Port Elizabeth early on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, said the body of the one victim was found at St George's Strand "near the pool area" with a gunshot wound to the head.
He said the second victim was found shortly after midnight in a street in Zwide with multiple gunshot wounds.
The third reported shooting took place in Shukushukuma in Motherwell after 3 am when a gunman entered a room at the back of a house and opened fire, killing a man in his bed.
"The cases do not appear to be linked but are being investigated by the Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit," Beetge said.
