At least three people have been killed in an accident on a gravel road between Cala and Indwe in the Eastern Cape.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell says three people, including a 3-year old child, were injured when a bakkie overturned late on Saturday afternoon.
"A Colt double cab LDV lost control and it overturned. It is suspected that speed caused the accident", he said.
"Three people were killed instantly, and three were taken to hospital in a serious condition, including a three-year old child", Bramwell said.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
