Port Elizabeth police are searching for at least 5 armed men, who fired several shots at a group of men outside a house in Bethelsdorp on Wednesday morning.
Spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder says the attackers stopped their vehicle next to the group, jumped out and fired 20 shots in quick succession at point blank range.
He says three men, aged between 27 and 31, were killed instantly and a fourth, a 21-year old, was critically wounded.
Rheeder says the shooting was gang-related.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota sedan.
