Three people burnt to death when their informal house caught alight in Pelsrus, Jeffreys Bay on Sunday night
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer, Gerda Swart, says a grandmother, her daughter and granddaughter, died in the blaze which broke out in the informal settlement.
She says a neighbour, who was watching the World Cup Football, heard a noise and when he went to investigate found the house ablaze.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
