Three killed in horror accident in George

Three men were killed in the early hours of Sunday morning, after the VW Polo in which they were travelling, hit a tree in York Street, George.

It is suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle at around 02:30.

Police say they suspect that the driver and his two passangers died instantly.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
