One killed in Kei Cuttings accident

One person was killed when a truck lost control and overturned in the Kei Cuttings in the Eastern Cape on Saturday morning.

Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell says a Mpumalanga registered truck overturned at around 3:30 am.

He says the driver was killed on impact, and one lane was closed to traffic for several hours.

Emergency services and traffic officials were at the scene to direct traffic.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
