Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of Culpable Homicide, after three people were killed in an accident on the N2 between Peddie and Grahamstown on Friday evening.
Spokesperson, Capt.Mali Govender says a vehicle with 8 occupants were travelling in the direction of Port Elizabeth, when it apparently lost control and overturned.
She says no other vehicles were involved.
Govender says three people in their thirties died at the scene.
The five injured were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The cause of the accident is not known, but Govender says police suspect it to be from a burst tyre.
