Three people were killed following a collision between a truck and a Sedan between Cookhouse and Cradock on Tuesday night.
According to Provincial Traffic, the accident happened at an intersection on the N10 and the R63 at 8.30 pm.
A Toyota Etios with three occupants was travelling from Bedford on the R63 when it hit a stationary truck, with two occupants inside, along the N10.
All the occupants in the Etios, a man and two women, died on the scene while the occupants of the truck escaped unharmed.
A case of culpable homicide was opened at the Cookhouse police station.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
