Three family members have died in a shack fire in Rosedale in Kamesh.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says the incident happened shortly after midnight on Sunday morning when a resident in another shack on the same property in Shrew Street noticed the flames.
She says he alerted other people but the flames were too intense to save anyone.
Naidu says 45-year-old Craig Isaacs, his 44-year-old wife, Antoinette, and their 7-year-old son, Tyrese died in the blaze.
She says the cause of the fire is still unknown.
Colonel Naidu says no foul play is suspected and police have opened an inquest docket.
