Eastern Cape police have assembled a task team to hunt down the gunmen who shot and killed three initiates inside a traditional initiation hut in Tsomo.
Provincial police spokesperson, Captain Khaya Tonjeni, said the deceased were aged between 19 and 20 and had sustained gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
He said they were last seen alive at about 6 pm on Friday.
“No suspects arrested yet as police are still following leads,” Tonjeni said.
The motive for the triple shooting is still unknown.
