Queenstown police are on a manhunt for three men awaiting trial for murder who escaped from custody on Saturday.
Correctional Services spokesperson Zama Feni says the three are Siyabonga Maqungo, Anele Baraza and Mziyanda Muleka from KuNgudla Village in Tsojane Administrative Area.
Feni says they were detained at the correctional center in June after police arrested them in connection with a murder in Tsolo.
He says the Department of Correctional Services is conducting an investigation to find out how the trio escaped.
"We would like the urge the public not to arrest them but to inform their nearest police station."
