Three arrested following post office robbery in Addo

Addo police have arrested three suspects following a robbery at the local post office on Tuesday.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Gerda Swart, said the gunmen entered the Post Office after 9 in the morning.

She says they robbed the institution of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Swart says no shots were fired and the suspects fled in a white Opel Corsa bakkie.
The vehicle was found abandoned about 10 kilometres outside Addo.
The suspects, aged 34, 39 and 48 are expected to appear in court soon.
