Two men and a woman were arrested on Sunday after they tried to con a woman out of her money for the second time at an ATM machine in Mossel Bay.
Police captain Malcom Poje says three suspects were nabbed when they attempted to con the same woman out of her money at an ATM at Kwanon-qaba Mall.
The victim had reported a case of theft to the local police station the day before after she was swindled out of R1 400 at an ATM.
Returning to the mall on Sunday, she recognised the trio and called the police when they approached. All three were arrested.
In the ensuing search, police found several banking cards, a card cloning device, and cash in their possession.
Their car, a VW Polo, was confiscated as evidence.
The suspects are scheduled to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today on charges of fraud and theft.
