Port Elizabeth police have arrested three suspects who allegedly robbed a house in Summerstrand in the early hours of this morning.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says five men gained entry to the house through a garage window.
She says a nurse, who takes care of the bed-ridden owner, was assaulted before the men stole jewellery and other items from a safe.
Janse Van Rensburg says one of the three suspects has been positively linked to the robbery while the other two were nabbed for being in posession of suspected stolen goods.
The search for the other suspects continues.
