Three appear in court for murder of PE teenager

The case against three Port Elizabeth men charged with the murder of a 14-year-old girl has been postponed in the magistrate's court.

Their arrest last week follows the discovery of the body of Stacey- Lee Terreblanche in a stream at Kuyga near Greenbushes.

Algoa FM News reporter Raahil Sain reports.

It was indicated that 30-year old Lionel Swartz has a pending case of murder against him. He is currently out on R200 bail in that matter. Swartz indicated that he had previous convictions but could not re-call details.

His younger brother, 28-year old Heinrich Swartz, indicated that he had 3 previous convictions but also could not remember the details of the offences.

A third accused, 31-year old Benedieta van Wyk had no pending cases or previous convictions.

The case was postponed until the 27th of January for further investigation.
