Gqeberha police are hunting for the gunmen who shot and killed a teenage girl.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the body of 13-year-old Chandré Heyns was found in a veld in the Marikana informal settlement in Bethelsdorp.
Police believe she was shot sometime between 2 am and 6 am.
Naidu says the young girl sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Heyns' mother last saw her when she left the house at 6 pm on Wednesday.
The motive for the child's murder is not yet known and a case of murder is being investigated.
