Third arrest for grisly murder in PE restaurant

Port Elizabeth police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a grisly murder at a Chinese restaurant in Humewood.

The arrest on Thursday brings to three, the number of suspects behind bars for the murder of Chinese national, Zhi Duan Huang.

According to The Herald he was killed inside the Jade Gardens restaurant some time on Sunday night.

The newspaper says a bloodied sword was found in a bakkie in Forest Hill.

Humewood Station Commander, Brigadier Ronald Koll, confirmed the third arrest to Algoa FM News a short while ago.

"I can confirm a Chinese national has been arrested. We still have not found a body. They will appear in court tomorrow for a bail hearing, but SAPS will oppose it since the matter is still under investigation" he said
