Eastern Cape traffic authorities reported two more fatal accidents on the province's roads, bringing to ten the number of people killed in crashes this past weekend.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell, said that the two latest accidents were reported on Sunday night.
He said that one person was killed when a bakkie hit a tree on the N2 between Gonubie and Beacon Bay in East London.
Bramwell said that a 43-year-old man also died on the Mount Coke road when he lost control of his mini-bus which left the road and overturned.
This weekend Bramwell reported that eight people were killed in several accidents reported across the Eastern Cape.
