Teenager killed in head-on collision outside J'Bay

A teenager has died following a head-on collision near Jeffrey's Bay on Monday afternoon.

Spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli says police were summoned to the accident scene at about 4 pm where they found two white vehicles, both damaged and off the road.

He says it is alleged that the two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they collided head-on near Vlakte Plaas.

The 13-year-old victim who was a passenger in one of the cars died at the scene.
