Teenager drowns in Humansdorp dam

 An eighteen year old man has drowned in a farm dam near Humansdorp.

NSRI Jeffrey's Bay station commander, Rieghard Janse Van Rensburg, says the teenager had gone missing while swimming with friends on Wednesday.

He says the NSRI launched a Stand Up Paddle Board and rescue swimmers formed a sweeping line search, free diving and wading in shallow water.

The body of the teenager was subsequently located by police divers during a scuba dive search.

Police have opened an inquest docket.
