Teenager dies at Springs music festival

 A teenager from Kamesh in Uitenhage has been fatally wounded in a fight at Springs resort outside the town.

Police said Brendan Claasen was one of three people who were stabbed during a brawl at a music festival on Sunday.

The fracas began when someone threw an empty bottle which hit a woman.

Police spokesperson, lieutenant-colonel Priscilla Naidu says Claasen died in hospital on Monday.

She says the suspects are known to the police and arrests are expected soon.
