Police in the Garden Route had their hands full on Monday night after unknown suspects damaged more than 19 homes in Great Brak River by using marbles.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Laurianne Botha says the first incident was reported at around 9 pm by residents who were under the impression that they were being shot at with a firearm.
Botha says upon closer investigation it was confirmed that the homes were damaged with marbles.

She says the last incident was reported at around 3 am on Tuesday.
Police are currently going through footage of the area and no one has yet been arrested in connection with the incident.
The Great Brak River police are already investigating six cases of malicious damage to property.
