A man and a woman have appeared in the George Magistrate's Court for the alleged possession of so-called "magic" mushrooms worth about R20 000.
Southern Cape police spokesperson, captain Malcolm Pojie, said the 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman appeared in court on Friday following their arrest.
He says police received a tip-off about a package of drugs at the George post office.
Pojie says the woman was released because of a lack of evidence while the man was granted bail of R1 500 rand.
