Suspects in court for EC mob murder

Five suspects, aged between 25 and 30, were due to appear in the Mthatha Magistrates Court on Tuesday on charges of murder.

This followed the weekend mob murder of 23-year-old Wandile Makheba. 

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Dineo Koena, says the community members accused Makheba of carjacking.

Mthatha Cluster Commander, Major General Sizakhele Dyantyi has condemned the mob attack.
