Port Elizabeth police arrested four suspects shortly after they robbed a spaza shop in Algoa Park.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says the incident occurred on Wednesday night.
He says four men, two with fire-arms, were apprehended shortly afterwards by a police patrol.
Labans says the money was recovered as well as a hijacked vehicle.
The suspects are due in court soon.
