East London Police are on a manhunt for one suspect following an armed robbery at an Engen garage in Beacon Bay a short while ago.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Marais, says a high speed chase ensued between the K9 unit and two suspects.
Marais says one of the suspects involved in the armed robbery was shot and killed during the chase.
He says a police member was also shot during the chase but is in a stable condition at hospital.
