Suspect in EL Court for alleged murder of sex workers

The man who allegedly shot 3 sex workers in East London in January appeared briefly at the City's Magistrates court on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Hazel Mqala said the suspect shot at the women after a short argument about payment.

One woman died on the scene and the other died on Monday in hospital. The third victim is still recovering.

Shortly after the incident the suspect fled in a green Mahindra vehicle.

The 47 year old Aron Khoza is facing two murder charges and one of attempted murder.

Khoza will make another appearance in Thursday.
