Suspect in court for murder of well known businessman

A 41-year-old suspect made a brief appearance in the Port Alfred Magistrates Court today on a charge of murder.

Police Captain Mali Govender says Tony Lucias Donile is accused of stabbing 41-year-old local businessman Noel Maddocks to death earlier this week.She says the court room was packed with friends and relatives of the deceased.


Govender says Donile, who is also 41-years-old,  has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on the 18th of August 2016.
