Suspect in court for EC cop's murder

A suspect will appear in court in Coffee Bay on Monday in connection with the murder of a police officer last December.

The 30-year-old man was arrested by the Hawks in Mqanduli on Friday.

He is the seventh suspect behind bars for the murder of Constable Lonwabo Soga.

Hawks spokesperson, Captain Anelisa Ngcakani, said all seven face charges of murder, attempted murder, and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
