Suspect arrested in coin dealership robbery

Port Elizabeth police have arrested a suspect they believe was involved in a robbery at a coin dealer in Walmer Park Shopping Centre last week.

Police captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says the 31-year-old man was arrested in Walmer Township after a car chase.
A plastic money bag containing Kruger Rands valued at around R160,000 was seized during the arrest.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Friday.

Three men robbed the coin dealership, Scoin, in Walmer Park last week in a slick hold-up that lasted barely a minute.
