A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Clodine Nuys of Jonkersberg outside Great Brak River.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the man was arrested in the area on Thursday.
He said SAPS members from Great Brak River launched the manhunt for him on Wednesday after the body of the young librarian was found behind the local creche the night before.
Pojie said the suspect will be charged with murder and will appear in court in Mossel Bay on Monday.
