Suspect arrested following gang shooting in PE

 Port Elizabeth police have arrested a 21-year-old man following a suspected gang-related shooting in Helenvale.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the victim, also 21, was sitting with friends in Voysen Street when the alleged shooter arrived.

He says there was an argument between the two and shots were fired.

Labans says the victim was hit in the legs and admitted to hospital.

The suspect will appear in court soon.
