The man who killed his girlfriend in East London before dismembering her body will be back in the High Court on Thursday.
Twenty Five-year-old Alutha Pasile pleaded guilty to murder and defeating the ends of Justice, earlier this week.
In his guilty plea, the court heard shocking details about how Pasile killed his 23-year-old girlfriend Nosicelo Mtebeni.
He said he accused her of having an affair after her behaviour became suspicious when she arrived back from a visit to her home in Matatiele.
Pasile said she was obsessed with her phone and had changed the password which made him even more suspicious.
The couple argued and Pasile grabbed a knife and stabbed her.
He says the knife fell because she fought back and he then pushed her hard against the wall where she hit heard head, fell facedown, and died.
During court proceedings earlier this week, the Chief Medical Officer at the EL mortuary, Dr Solomon Zondi, testified in court about Mtebeni's injuries.
He said Mtebeni had been dismembered on seven places on her body and sustained multiple stab wounds.
According to Zondi's testimony, Mtebeni sustained her first wound to her right hand which could have been an indication of her fighting back.
He also stated that her nose was fractured and that both these injuries were inflicted before she died.
The doctor further testified that Mtebeni was dismembered below the hips and just below the knees.
Pasile then cut off her hands and head.
In his guilty plea, Pasile said after the murder he searched for information online on how to dispose of a body.
He found a video that showed a body being dismembered, placed in a suitcase and thrown away.
Pasile said he struggled to sleep and smoked some tik.
On the following day, he went to a hardware store to purchase everything he needed to dispose of Mtebeni's body.
He said he had to smoke more tik to give him courage before dismembering the body.
The Judge accepted Pasile's guilty plea.
A pre-sentencing report is expected to be handed in at the court on Thursday.
