Police are still searching for the suspect who shot and killed a farmer at Steynsburg in the Eastern Cape on Sunday evening and wounded his wife.
The 45-year-old Brent Gibbons was shot several times in the kitchen of his farmhouse and his wife Willemien was also shot before the shooter fled the scene.
She was admitted to a Port Elizabeth hospital in a stable condition
The couple's three young daughters aged three, five and eight, were not injured in the attack.
The Steynsburg community has meanwhile raised a R100-000 reward for information leading to an arrest and successful conviction.
