The Sunday's River Citrus Company in Addo walked away with a string of awards at the 6th Nelson Mandela Bay Health and Wellness Awards Ceremony, which took place in Cannonville on Friday.
The awards event was attended by business, NGO's and the public sector where wellness practitioners, schools, churches, teams and corporate programs competed in various categories.
Keynote speaker Professor Tim Noakes spoke about making an impact on health in South Africa.
A record number of entries were received this year with over 40 submissions.
This event is the only one of its kind in South Africa, and was held in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber.
Sundays River Citrus Company came second in the Large Enterprise Category, followed by the Sundays River Farming Trust and Luthando Farm in third position.
The winner of the Wellness Champion Category was SRCC's Zelda van Tonder, while the Wellness Impact Category was awarded to the Sibanye Theatre Group.
