Eastern Cape police are investigating cases of Culpable Homicide, after 4 people died in an accident near Hofmeyr late on Friday evening.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Riaan Herselman says a bakkie was travelling on a gravel road from Tarkastad towards Hofmeyr, and about 20km from the town, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it overturned.
Herselman says it then burst into flames, and was completely destroyed.
He says four 4 passengers died at the scene.
Seven others were injured - one of them seriously.
