Port Elizabeth police are searching for 5 armed men, following a cash heist outside a Municipal Service Centre in Heugh Road, Walmer on Friday afternoon.
Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the robbers held up two security guards, shortly after they arrived in a cash-in-transit vehicle outside the premises.
He says they took the firearms of both guards, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Labans says no shots were fired, and no-one was injured.
