The South African Leather Industry Association offered a 7.75% increase to striking employees at the Watson Shoe Factory in Great Brak River on Thursday morning.
An extra holiday bonus was also offered.
At least one hundred employees of the shoe factory took part in a nationwide strike.
They belong to the National Union of Leather & Allied Workers, which declared a dispute with the SA Leather Industry Association over wages and other employment conditions.
Almost 100 factories nationwide are affected by the strike.
The Coordinator of the strikers in the Garden Route, Joanne Volkwyn said they will accept the offer.
They are satisfied with the offer and will be back at work on Monday.
The offer, however, needs to be accepted by strikers nationally or the strike will continue.
