Stormsriver woman in court for alleged family murder

 A 33-year old Stormsriver woman is expected to make her first court appearance in the Humansdorp magistrate's court on Monday for the alleged murder of a family member.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the woman and her 33-year old cousin were allegedly involved in an argument over the weekend, when she pulled out a knife and stabbed him twice in the arm.

She says the man was admitted to hospital, but later died of his injuries.
