Judgment in the states' application to have disbarred Gqeberha attorney, Ann Swanepoel's 2018 bail revoked, will be handed down next month.
The state made the application during pre-sentencing proceedings at the PE Commercial Crimes Court on Friday.
The state alleges that Swanepoel flouted two of her bail conditions, and according to Senior Advocate, Lise Keech, "this is currently under investigation."
Swanepoel was disbarred from practicing law in 2015 after she was found guilty of theft, but continued consulting clients, and pocketing thousands of rands in the process.
She also made headlines that year when she testified for the defence at the Christopher Panayioutou trial.
Swanepoel also initially represented the alleged hitman Sizwezakhe Vumazonke who died in prison before the trial commenced.
Judgment on the state's application will be handed down on 7 December.
