Eskom will implement Stage 1 load-shedding from 9 am - 10 pm.
Spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe says the national grid remains constrained due to high plant breakdowns.
This will be the 9th consecutive day of load-shedding for South Africa.
In a statement issued on Saturday morning, Eskom reminded customers to treat all electrical points as live during load shedding. Eskom again apologised for the inconvenience caused.
Stage one called for 1000MW to be rotationally shed nationally at a given period.
Please switch off geysers as well as all non-essential lighting and electrical appliances to assist in reducing demand.
